Multiplay recruiting more Support Technicians!

Multiplay are taking steps to seriously drive forward in key areas of our business, especially our online services. Due to our expanding userbase, we need more Support team members to help keep our high support standards, and to deal with growth moving forwards.

Vacancy - Customer Services and Support Technician - Part Time / Full Time

Purpose: Ensure a high level of customer care and quality of service for Multiplays online operations, most notably our hosted services such as game servers, voice comms and dedicateds.

Location: Working from home
Package: £6.08+ per hour depending on candidate
Hours of Work:Casual contract starting at 22 hours/week, increasing or decreasing in line with demand. Support is 24 hours. Expected shifts will be 1pm-1am EST - East Coast US time including some weekend work.

Areas of Work:

Provide support to the Customer Services Manager which will include but not be limited to:

* Ensure timely resolution to customer service, sales and support enquiries
* Responsible for managing ticket queues from within the e-support system
* Responsible for managing all enquiries via telephone and Live Support
* Process on line service orders as required
* Monitor server farm performance metrics and respond to monitoring alerts
* Create and maintain support wiki articles as necessary

Skills and Experience:

* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Competent at both UNIX and Windows systems administration
* Experience in working in a customer service environment
* Competent in network administration, operation and diagnostics
* Good IT literacy

ClanForge v3 - Live Control Update!

Hi everyone!

Once again we have more updates on the developemt of ClanForge v3 :)

Some of you may have noticed that yesterday we released a new version which implements more functionality to manage your servers into v3. This was released to betaforge.multiplay.co.uk

In order to try and get a bigger userbase for this release, we are randomly forwarding some users from clanforge.multiplay.co.uk to betaforge.multiplay.co.uk so that we can get as many testing scenarios as possible.

However, you can also switch back to the old version of ClanForge if you wish, by clicking the "ClanForge Classic" link in the top bar.

If you find any bugs when using ClanForge v3 then please head over to the ClanForge Feedback Thread and let us know!

Live Control
In this release you can now manage your servers in real time from your Server Dashboard through the Live Control, which includes:

- Players / Bans
- FTP Details
- World Backup & Restore
- Server Console
- Upload / Download Files
- PunkBuster Bans
- PunkBuster Players Lists
- Registered Players for Comms Servers
- Current Game Settings
